마가복음 11장 1-10절 (나귀를 드리고 난 후에 후회? 감사?)

우리는 누군가에게 선물이나 도움을 주고, 후회 할 때가 있거나, 오히려 감사 할 때가 있습니다.  우리의 뜻대로 되면 감사하지만 우리의 뜻대로 되지 않으면 도움 준 것을 후회합니다.

오늘 본문은 예수님의 예루살렘 입성 하실 때의 내용입니다.  많은 사람들이 예수님의 예루살렘 입성에 흥분하고 있습니다.  그들은 예수님이 이스라엘의 혁명가로, 왕으로 오실 것을 기대합니다.

이러한 가운데, 예수님은 제자 둘을 보내어 매여 있는 나귀를 끌고 오라고 합니다.  나귀주인이 누가 쓰겠느냐고 하면 주가 쓰시겠다고 하라고 합니다.

제자들은 예수님의 말씀대로 나귀를 발견하고 나귀 주인에게 주님이 말씀하신대로 말하고 나귀를 끌고 옵니다.  예수님은 나귀를 타고 예루살렘에 입성합니다.

나귀를 주님에게 내어준 사람이 누구인지 알 수 없습니다.  당시의 나귀는 족장급들이 가질 수 있는 중요한 재산입니다.  오늘 날의 아주 비싼 자동차와 같습니다.  나귀를 아무나 타지 못합니다.  지금도 이스라엘에 가면 베드인 족들이 나귀를 타고 다니는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

나귀를 내어준 사람은 예수님이 이 나귀를 타고 우리의 죄의 용서를 위한 십자가의 고난과 죽음으로 가는 것을 알았을까요?  아니면 예수님이 우리의 가난과 문제를 해결하시는 예루살렘의 왕으로 입성하시는 것으로 알았을까요?  우리는 나귀 주인이 어떤 목적을 나귀를 내어 주었는지 알 수 없습니다.

그러나 예수님의 나귀의 사용은 단순했습니다.  예수님은 나귀를 타고 우리의 죄의 용서를 위한 십자가의 고난과 죽음을 당하십니다.  그리고 부활하십니다.

오늘도 우리는 하나님과 교회를 위하여 헌신합니다.  우리의 시간과 물질을 드립니다.  우리의 사랑과 희망을 교회에 갖습니다.  하나님에게 우리의 나귀를 드립니다.

이렇게 하나님에게 나귀를 드렸는데, 너무나 많은 사람들이 자신의 의도와 다른 결과가 나타날 때에 분노하고, 절망합니다.  이렇게 되면 하나님에게 드린 것이 아닙니다.  예수님은 나귀 주인에게 주가쓰신다고 하라고 합니다.  주는 성경에서 Qurios, Lord, 하나님입니다.  하나님에게 나귀를 드린 것입니다.

저는 나귀 주인이 예수님이 십자가에 죽으신 후에, 실망했는지, 감사했는지 알지 못합니다.

그러나 예수님이 우리의 나귀를 사용하시는 것은 우리의 죄의 용서와 구원입니다.  이것이 만족하는 우리의 헌신과 충성이 되길 바랍니다.
